
”The Minister of Industry, George Bouchikian, signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and the Syndicate of Certified Chemists in Lebanon to work together to implement Resolution No. 43/1 issued by the Ministry of Industry on 10/21/2021, in the presence of the Director General of the Ministry, Danny Gideon, and the Syndicate delegation, which was represented by Vice President Bilal Dandashli. Secretary, Jihad Abboud, and members: Zeina Haj Riachi, George Badr, Jack Yacoub, and Eli Bared. The Ministry’s decision obligates the owners of factories whose manufactures contain chemicals to employ chemists by employing them for the first and second categories, or by contracting with chemists for the third, fourth, and fifth categories, in accordance with applicable laws, with the aim of preserving public safety and eliminating risks.
